Infrared thermometers (guns) have relatively high requirements on the environment. The best working environment is 16℃ to 35℃. If the temperature is lower than 10℃, the temperature measurement will be misaligned. In low temperature environment, the temperature measurement is more prone to deviation. This requires on-duty personnel to "warm" the thermometer (put it under the armpit or in a warm place), to avoid its long-term ultra-low temperature environment or direct sunlight, to ensure that there is no deviation in temperature measurement.
Choose the right environment and location
When the outdoor forehead is cold, the infrared thermometer (gun) may not detect the temperature or display the temperature below 36 ℃. On-duty personnel can communicate with the crowd. It is recommended to go to the checkpoint (ensure the ambient temperature) to measure the temperature of the skin part (inside of the wrist or neck) covered by the clothes or scarf. The thermometer is best 3cm away from the skin. Select the correct temperature and environment, and the measurement results will be closer to the real body temperature.
Use a glass thermometer pocket
Combined with the symptoms and manifestations of new coronary pneumonia, scientifically identify fever patients after cooling treatment such as cold compress and sweating. During the measurement, pay attention to check the mental state of the testee, whether his face is sallow; whether there are tearing, sneezing, nasal congestion, difficulty breathing, fatigue and other symptoms. Once found, use a glass thermometer (or electronic thermometer) for re-measurement.
